Pneumatic grass seeder
B-DRILL pneumatic seed drills can be combined with VELOCE and UFO disc harrows, both with rigid frame and folding frames. They allow seeding different types of seed such as alfalfa, grass seeds and legumes. This combination enhances soil preparation and simultaneous seeding in a single passage, reducing working times and operating costs.
The compact sized B-DRILL seed drill is available in three versions of 200, 300 and 500 L, all equipped with centralised dispenser.
Cover Crop seeding offers several agronomic benefits and advantages in the ground by increasing soil fertility, suppression of weeds and parasites, controlling of erosion and increasing the biological activity of the soil. Seeds are pneumatically distributed by means of distribution plates, by placing them in the first centimetres of the ground.
B-DRILL seed drill allows the seeding of different types and quantities of seed, thanks to the choice of two different dosing rollers, one for small seeds and one for large seeds. Dosing is electrically driven and the seed is precisely and evenly distributed, even with small quantities of seeds.
All parameters and controls are managed via 2 types of control units: 1.2 (BASIC version) and 5.2 (ADVANCED version). The first allows easy machine management with control of the dosing roller, electric fan, spreading quantity, emptying and calibration test. For a more professional use, the control unit 5.2 allows to fully manage all working parameters and automatically adapt the spreading quantity to the tractor’s feed speed. Advanced control requires a motion detection sensor, this data can be detected via a tractor 7-pole cable, or via GPS or RADAR.
Depending on the chosen version, there are two types of fan drive. The 200 L version consists of 8 outlets with electric drive while the 300 and 500 L version are equipped with 8 or 16 outlets, optionally, with fan hydraulic drive.
B-DRILL seed drill combined with MASCHIO GASPARDO disc harrows makes it possible to cut operating costs and times, being able to prepare the soil and plant in a single step. With pneumatic distribution, the seed is evenly and precisely distributed, even in windy conditions.
