Vacuum precision planter for vegetables
The OLIMPIA model is a precision vegetable planter for twin row sowing. The result of the experience that GASPARDO has gained over the years in precision sowing, the new sowing element for vegetables offers high precision and homogeneity in the distribution of seeds. Equipped with a mounted, fixed or folding frame, OLIMPIA can deal with over 20 rows at different inter-row spacing, depending on cultivation and management requirements.
The vegetable sowing unit guarantees perfect control and setting of all operating parameters. The presence of two distributors for each unit, staggered between the rows of 4 or 9 cm, allows maximum precision for twin sowing thanks also to the possibility of choosing the wide or narrow unit. The rocker arm structure with front and rear wheels allows to follow any unevenness of the ground and to easily adjust the sowing depth, while the parallelogram connection system with load spring guarantees the adjustment of the ground pressure of each single unit. All this makes it possible to sow even in specific horticultural conditions, such as hydraulic-agricultural arrangements on raised beds.
OLIMPIA boasts a new distributor that guarantees better accuracy in sowing and greater delicacy in contact with the seed. The new internal profile of the distributor allows a better flow of the seed towards the suction area, while the new plastic anti-leakage coulters hinder the passage of even the smallest seeds, minimizing friction with the disc. Finally, the holes of the anti-turbulence system together with the new bronze seed ejector, allows a more precise and delicate deposition of the seed.
The 36-speed mechanical transmission always allows to find the right gear guaranteeing the distribution not only of the seed but also of the microgranular fertilizer and the fertilizer.
To meet the needs of the most specialised horticulturists, OLIMPIA allows to choose the type of unit according to the width, narrow or wide according to the desired inter-row. Finally, the distributor allows the use of sowing discs for single, double or triple rows, combined with dedicated seed selectors and ejectors.
