Combined power harrow with pneumatic seed drill for cereal with front hopper
CENTAURO is part of the pneumatic seed drill segment. The setting with PA1/PA2 front hopper and rear working units is the result of the union of MASCHIO's experience in the field of folding frame power harrows and of GASPARDO in that of in-line seed drills for cereals. Based on a folding, mounted-type frame that gives sturdiness and reliability, it is available in 4 and 6 m versions up to a maximum of 48 rows, an ideal solution for sowing the main cereal crops for tractors with power ranging from 200 to 330 HP.
CENTAURO increases operational efficiency thanks to the possibility of combining secondary soil tilling with sowing in a single pass. The combination by means of the COMBI quick coupling with the GABBIANO folding harrows for PA1 hopper and AQUILA and TORO RAPIDO PLUS for PA1 or PA2 SF allows a high level of customization, ensuring a high level of finishing and levelling of the ground and a transport footprint of only 2.43 m thanks to the folding side wings.
The PA1 front hopper with a capacity of 1,100 l, uses a single volumetric metering unit, while the PA2 SF (Seed & Fertilizer) with a capacity of 2,000 l and an internal partition of 1,200 and 800 l uses two dedicated metering units, allowing the distribution of seed and fertilizer in the same sowing furrow.
The better distribution of the weights guarantees greater stability especially in particular conditions such as hill seeding, where the pneumatic transport of the seed always guarantees a high distribution uniformity along the whole seeding bar.
The configuration with a PA2 SF 5 or 6 m bar 2,000 l front hopper allows unparalleled autonomy, especially if the entire volume of the hopper is used for seed distribution.
The ISOTRONIC electric transmission with ISOBUS communication protocol allows digital control of the seed drill and the use of all Precision Farming functions.
Thanks to its generous load capacity and working width, CENTAURO is ideal for medium/large farms and for demanding contractors.
