COMPAGNA introduces the segment of combined mechanical seed drills resulting from the union of MASCHIO's experience in the field of rotary tillers and power harrows and of GASPARDO’s in that of in-line seed drills for cereals. Based on a mounted tractor coupling that gives it compactness and versatility, COMPAGNA is available in versions from 1.3 to 3 m up to a maximum of 24 rows, the ideal solution for sowing small and large seeds or in specialised areas, such as viticulture for inter-row sowing where high-powered tractors are not available.
COMPAGNA represents the concept of multipurpose seeding thanks to the possibility of combining the action of primary/secondary soil tillage with seeding in a single pass. The combination can be done with a rotary tiller (B, C and SC models) or with a power harrow (DELFINO DL and SUPER, DRAGO DC and DOMINATOR DM models) allowing a high degree of customization according to requirements.
The large hopper, with a maximum capacity of 355 l (3 m version) offers the possibility of being divided thanks to internal dividers available on request that allow seeding even in particular conditions such as uneven or hilly terrain.
The mechanical transmission system with 3-cam transmission in oil bath operated by the rear roller of the rotary tiller/power harrow, feeds the tilting drop tubes (+/- 250) which transport the seed by gravity between the working parts and the rear roller in order to mix it with the soil. The working depth and the levelling degree of the ground vary according to the nature of the working parts and the type of rear roller.
COMPAGNA is the ideal seed drill for sustainable seeding on poorly fertile soils or for grassing even on vineyards thanks to its combining with narrow and low-power tractors.
