Mechanical seed drill for cereal
DAMA PLUS is part of the combined mechanical seed drill segment resulting from the union of MASCHIO's experience in the field of rotary tillers and power harrows and of GASPARDO’s in that of in-line seed drills for cereals. Based on a fixed frame of the mounted type that gives compactness and performance, DAMA PLUS is available in versions from 2.5 and 3 m up to a maximum of 24 rows, an ideal solution for sowing the main cereal crops for tractors with power ranging from 90 to 150 HP.
DAMA PLUS increases operational efficiency thanks to the possibility of combining primary/secondary soil tilling with sowing in a single pass. The combination is possible in rapid mode with three COMBI harrow models such as DRAGO DC, DOMINATOR DM and ORSO RAPIDO PLUS. This allows a high level of customization, always guaranteeing the best level of finishing and levelling of the soil as per MASCHIO tradition.
The large hopper, in an advanced position, allows to have a centre of gravity closer to the tractor, ensuring high compactness and less effort during lifting, allowing coupling with tractors of reduced power. With a maximum capacity of 600 l (3 m version) the hopper can be divided thanks to internal dividers available on request that allow sowing even in particular conditions such as uneven or hilly terrain.
In case of greater technological needs, the DAMA PLUS ISOTRONIC version with electric transmission and ISOBUS communication system, allows digital control of the seed drill and the use of all Precision Farming functions. In both cases it is possible to choose different types of metering rollers that allow the correct distribution of both small and large seeds.
Accurate seeding deposition is ensured by the different types of coulters available arranged in two rows: suffolk, double Corex disc, double Corex Plus disc and single disc. Finally, the telescopic seed-covering rear harrow that manages to follow the undulation of the soil repositions the crop residues previously moved by the seeding element.
