Offset adjustable mulcher for grass and pruning up to Ø 4 cm
BARBI is an offset mulcher designed to cut grass and woody material up to 4 cm in diameter. Available in working widths ranging from 1 to 1.75 m, it can be paired with tractors with horsepower in the 20 to 45 range.
Providing even more practical use while on the job, BARBI can also be ordered with hydraulic offset. This allows the operator to control offset positioning without leaving the tractor's cab. Up to 40 cm side shift, depending on the model.
While BARBI falls into the low-powered mulcher category, it boasts come significant distinctive features, namely electronic balancing of rotors, toothed belt side drive and addition of a counter blade. The rear roller is self-cleaning and the gearbox comes complete with freewheel. The PTO shaft comes as standard.
Power is transmitted to the rotor by three toothed belts with an adjustable pulley. There are two screws for adjusting belt tension quickly and safely.
BARBI is fitted with 20" hammer flails: a rugged solution, very similar to the solutions adopted on the larger models. It can handle thicker, lignified material, such as cereal stubble or tree crop prunings.
For a professional job, optional extras include side skids and, most importantly, a double-skinned body to protect the structure from impact, resulting in a significantly longer service life.
