Trailed disc mower
The trailed version of BORA is a lightweight mower, suitable for use even with smaller-sized vehicles, reducing fuel consumption and soil compaction.
Its central drawbar system, adjustable to both sides, allows precise positioning of the cutting bar exactly where needed. Thanks to its advanced suspension, the cutting bar remains light and responsive on the ground, accurately following the terrain profile even at high speeds.
The working width ranges from 310 to 352 cm, with a choice of two types of conditioners.
Road transport is easy and safe, as the mower can quickly switch from working position to transport position in just a few moments.
The new cutter bar features a completely flat bottom and a low-profile design, with adjustable cutting height down to 10 cm. This ensures constant protection of the grass cover by reducing contact pressure during mowing and promoting faster plant regrowth for subsequent cuts.
Thanks to the practical and fast blade replacement system, BORA T minimizes repair downtime, allowing mowing operations to resume quickly. Each blade's optimized inclination ensures a clean and precise cut, preserving the product and preventing contamination, even when working with lodged crops.
In the event of a disc colliding with an obstacle, the ShockPROâ„¢ hubs with built-in protection are designed to break intentionally to safeguard the cutter bar's drive system. This system securely holds the entire mechanism, allowing for a quick stop and easy replacement of the damaged hub, minimizing costs and downtime.
When working on rocky terrain, the SAFE+ safety system delivers excellent performance. In the event of contact with stones or protruding obstacles, the cutter bar automatically lifts to prevent dangerous collisions and reduce the risk of damage, extending the machine's lifespan. The system’s sensitivity is easily adjustable via two springs, enabling the mower to adapt to the terrain and maintain a uniform cutting height, promoting regrowth. Additionally, SAFE+ operates independently of ground pressure, ensuring maximum efficiency and uncompromised protection.
