Front mounted disc mower/conditioner
The front-mounted version of the BORA F mower range shares the same cutter bar as the rest of the series. This mounted machine channels the crop between the tractor wheels to prevent contamination from contact and is available with two suspension systems, offering working widths from 2.96 m to 3.52 m to suit a variety of needs. Optional extras include a polyethylene flail conditioner and the TOP DRY rapid-drying system. When paired with a rear, side-mounted, or twin mower, it delivers maximum daily productivity.
The redesigned cutter bar features a fully flat underside and a low profile, with a cutting height adjustable up to 10 cm. This reduces ground pressure during mowing and promotes faster sward regrowth for subsequent cuts.
BORA F minimises downtime with its quick-release knife system, allowing fast and easy blade replacement. Each blade is precisely angled to deliver a clean, sharp cut that preserves forage quality—even when working in lodged crops.
In the event of a collision between the disc and an obstruction, the ShockPRO hubs are designed to shear intentionally to protect the cutter bar transmission. The mechanism remains securely in place, allowing rapid replacement of the damaged hub and reducing both cost and downtime.
Standard only on front-mounted mower conditioners, this floating suspension compensates for lateral slopes up to 12° and vertical movement up to 55 cm, ensuring optimal performance even on hilly or mountainous terrain. The trapezoidal linkage allows the cutting unit to tilt backwards when encountering resistance, preserving constant ground following.
