Professional hedge and verge mower
PALMA is a professional hedge cutter suitable for cutting grass, shrubs and bushes, both in the field and for road maintenance. Available in 3 versions 500, 600 and 720 T. The latter is equipped with telescopic extension for greater outreach. It can combined with tractors with power between 60 and 80 HP, with a minimum weight of 2.800 kg and a minimum wheel track of 2 m.
To ensure high performance with extensions up to 7,2 m, a robust arm and dedicated hydraulics are essential. The safety systems include the hydraulic system with adjustable hydropneumatic shock absorber, the manual closure of the hydraulic circuit for safe maintenance operations, up to the mechanical shockproof safety system that discharges the hydraulic pressure of the rotor in case it blocks.
The CFS (Contour Following System) is available on request, which ensures the floating of the arm by means of a potentiometer that makes it possible to follow the profile of the ground without having to intervene on the controls, protecting the arm and the hydraulic motor from damage. The head, equipped with a spiral rotor, allows the double rotation direction with an angle of up to 2200, ensuring maximum performance.
PALMA can be coupled with different types of belt drive heads 120 cm wide, which offers different combinations for the cutting parts, blades or hammers. The spiral type rotor allows the double rotation direction and the floating function up to 2200 of rotation, ensuring maximum performance.
In addition to the classic heads for twigs, hedge bars for cutting shrubs up to 1.5 cm and the attachment for cutting branches up to 10 cm are also available. MARGHERITA also allows cleaning road side ditches and channels thanks to the ditch cutter. The high efficiency of this equipment comes from the use of a hydraulic motor, an ideal solution for the drive of particular accessories that work with high extensions.
