Trailed subsoiler with folding frame
DIABLO is MASCHIO GASPARDO's high-end subsoiler, in a trailed version, with a folding frame and a working width of up to 7 m. DIABLO is an ideal choice for large farmers who have very high-powered tractors, up to 600 HP.
The DIABLO frame has a particularly rugged build as the tines are securely bolted on to a frame that is, in turn, attached to the wings' main frame. This dual-frame approach delivers strength and extreme stability, even on the toughest soils. DIABLO's movements are entirely automated by means of 9 powerful hydraulic cylinders. The wings, wheels, rear disc harrow and front drawbar are thus operated independently from the tractor. The CSA tines feature a bolted mount design, offering high ground clearance and resulting in a working depth of up to 45 cm. Lastly, the frame is protected by shear bolts incorporated into each tine
In addition to regular subsoiling, the addition of two disc gangs at the back ensures crop residue is buried and incorporated thoroughly. The vertically positioned discs are self-cleaning and, given their large size (610 mm), break up clods and effectively stabilize any soil.
With a working width of up to 7 m and speeds of up to 9 km/h, it can deliver impressive work rates (up to 7 ha/h). The folding frame, with a transport width in the 3 to 3.3 m range, makes for easy road travel between jobs, where possible.
