Adjustable offset rigid frame multispeed rotary tiller
SILVA is the rotary tiller with lateral offset via hydraulic adjuster which, while maintaining the features of MASCHIO rotary tillers, it is ideal for row spacing and under-crop work in vineyards and orchards with working widths between 1,6 m and 2,1 m.
The professional equipment set-up is found in details such as the more robust frame structure, the slip clutch PTO shaft and the 3-gears side drive gearbox that ensures constant transmission without loss of power and for the presence of the 4-speed gearbox. The side hydraulic offset allows choosing between the version with side or front skids, making it possible to work to a maximum depth of 22 cm. The rear bonnet made with new oversized sheet metal ensure greater wear resistance, it has a curved design capable of ensuring perfect soil levelling in all conditions. The vineyard version has a rounded right edge for easier entry/exit from under-crop.
The rotor with 6 impeller blades per flange combined with hydraulic offset, makes it possible to carry out an extremely precise tillage even on crops with narrow distances on the row. Especially in viticulture, the risk of damaging the plant collar is reduced thanks to the front skids and the design of the rear bonnet with a bevelled edge.
SILVA is the ideal rotary tiller for farms and contractors operating in the wine and fruit growing contexts. The described features make it functional for these specific contexts and the mechanical strength that makes it stand out ensures its reliability under intensive use.
