Folding tool-carrier frame coupled with 2 seed drills for cereals with fertilizer
METRO MEGA model is part of the segment of large size in-line mechanical transmission seed drills. Based on the structure of SC MARIA model, it guarantees high reliability and sturdiness allowing sowing even on minimally or coarsely tilled soils. Equipped with a foldable trailed tool frame, it is available only in the 12-meter, 88-row version.
METRO MEGA seed drill is based on the union of 4 SC MARIA seed drill models that work in parallel with each other. This union is made possible by the trailed-type tool holder frame with folding wings which allows a closed footprint of just 6 meters, facilitating transport. This imposing seed drill maintains the peculiar characteristics of the model from which it derives such as the mechanical transmission system with three-cam transmission in oil bath, the internal partition of the hopper for the distribution of the seed and fertilizer with a combined system and the system of double disc coulters with adjustable compression spring.
The planting units are characterised by an easy adjustment of the sowing depths of the 2 rows of double disc coulters, a solution that allows correct spacing to avoid soil clogging even in the presence of a lot of crop residue.
MEGA is the ideal seed drill for large farms where there are no road traffic problems.
