Mounted pneumatic precision planter with folding wings frame and adjustable row spacing
Thanks to over ten years’ experience in the precision planter sector and the versatility of MTR unit capable of planting in conditions of both fine and minimally tilled soils, MAGICA model offers versions with 6 to 12 rows with adjustable spacing, allowing the planting of all row crops, such as corn, beet, soy, rapeseed, sunflower, sorghum and cotton.
MTR planting unit is characterised by high-level structural solutions such as the sturdy double parallelogram connection system with adjustable load spring, double disc coulter, independent rocker depth wheels, distributor body made in cast aluminium and large 60 l hopper. In MAGICA 8-12 ISOTRONIC version the standard tank is 36 l.
MTR planting unit is coupled to the frame with foldable side wings which ensure road widths of 3 and 3.2 meters depending on the version. The rapid adjustment of the inter-row distance is carried out with locking pins for each planting unit, while the positioning of the individual elements according to the desired distance takes place hydraulically. The standard transmission is mechanical with a 16-speed gearbox and offers, on request, the electromechanical release system of the single element, which allows section control.
The different customizations offered by MAGICA model allow different combinations between microgranulators and fertilizer spreaders. The latter, available only with suffolk coulter, offers two different applications: rear on the frame of the planter itself or as a PA1 front hopper. The latter combination cannot be combined for the 8-12 ISOTRONIC version.
The 7 and 9 row versions allow the exclusion of the central element by transforming MAGICA into the 6 and 8 row version respectively. The ISOTRONIC 8-12 row version uses a quick release kit, allowing the quick transformation into the 8 row configuration thanks to the physical removal of 4 elements. This system allows to work on 7, 9 and 12 rows with 45 and 50 cm inter-row distances and on 6 and 8 rows with inter-row distances up to 75 cm.
In case of greater technological needs, the ISOTRONIC version with electric transmission and ISOBUS communication system, allows digital control of the planter and the use of all PRECISION FARMING functions.
The different inter-row widths that can be easily and quickly set make MAGICA an extremely versatile planter capable of dominating even medium-sized surfaces, becoming a reference point for farmers and contractors.
