Within MTR range, MANTA XL represents the most impressive model among precision planters. Thanks to over ten years’ experience in the precision planter sector and the versatility of MTR unit capable of planting in conditions of both fine and minimally tilled soils, MANTA XL model, with vertically closing wing frame, with telescopic sections on both the central unit and the wings, is available only in the 12 row version with 70, 75 or 80 cm inter-row distance.
MTR planting unit is characterised by high-level structural solutions such as the sturdy double parallelogram connection system with adjustable load spring, double disc coulter, independent rocker depth wheels, distributor body made in cast aluminium and large 36 l capacity hopper.
MTR planting unit is coupled to the frame with vertically closing and floating wings that allow a road width of 3 m and a height of 4 m. MANTA XL is equipped with innovative solutions for perfect control of the wings: during planting the floating type system allows to better follow the ground, while the WING UP ™ compensation system keeps them suspended during the lifting of the planter, thus guaranteeing greater manoeuvrability especially in difficult conditions such as headland turns on slopes or with obstacles. The standard transmission is mechanical and offers, on request, the electromechanical release system of the single unit, which allows section control.
In case of greater technological needs, the ISOTRONIC version with electric transmission and ISOBUS communication system, allows digital control of the planter and the use of all Precision Farming functions.
The different customizations offered by MANTA model allow different combinations between microgranulators and fertilizer spreaders. The latter, with PA1 or PA2 SF front hopper with pneumatic transport and double disc coulter, guarantees excellent balancing, ideal when working with imposing equipment.
The high productivity, given by the 12 units, and the adaptation to heterogeneous soil profiles, make it an ideal tool to meet the needs of contractors and large companies.
