ORSO L

ORSO L and ORSO XL are distinguished by a highly robust double-frame structure, a hallmark of MASCHIO GASPARDO harrows. The inner thickness of 6 mm and outer thickness of 5 mm provide greater rigidity and strength without significantly increasing weight. The entire structure is made of high-strength steel, ensuring superior performance under all conditions.

Both ORSO L and ORSO XL use the same transmission body and are equipped with the POWER HUB bearing, offering long-lasting durability and enhanced stability. Additional features include the use of synthetic oil in the gearboxes and HEAVY DUTY components such as stronger knife-holder shafts and thicker blades, which are mounted on single-block forged knife holders.

The transmission and working components are made from the highest quality materials using automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with knife supports are machined by turning from a single forged piece of high-strength steel. The 32 cm long knives are forged from tempered boron steel and processed on highly automated production lines. Their profile is specifically designed to maximize soil refinement under all conditions. Tungsten carbide coating for extended durability is available as an option.

The extensive standard equipment is enhanced by accessories worthy of a higher-class machine. The patented RAPIDO quick-release system enables simple and fast blade replacement using only the supplied cam. Meanwhile, the PLUS stone guard system, with its anti-clogging wedges, protects the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusions by stones or other debris that could cause blockages.

ORSO L (produced exclusively in the COMBI 2 version) and ORSO XL allow coupling with MASCHIO GASPARDO seeders such as DAMA PLUS, DAMA PLUS ISOTRONIC, ALIANTE, and ALITALIA ISOTRONIC. To enhance versatility, a front-mounting kit is available upon request, enabling the attachment of another implement to the rear.
