TORO SUPER RAPIDO

TORO SUPER RAPIDO stands out for its particularly robust mechanics, ideal for contractors and medium-to-large companies that require versatile and reliable machines. Numerous improvements include the new “bearing” assembly for the knife supports called "POWER HUB", the patented roller bearing called "BLINDATO", the use of synthetic oil in the gearboxes, new high-strength steel side skirts, the oil cooling system for the central gearbox, and telescopic steel side PTO shaft protections. With the new levelling bar increased by 7.9 inches, soil refinement has improved. All these upgrades, together with the well-established hardened and carburised gears, hardened knife support shafts, and HEAVY DUTY bearings, have enhanced refinement performance and reduced maintenance.

TORO SUPER RAPIDO features a very solid double-box frame structure, a distinctive characteristic of MASCHIO rotary harrows. The internal thickness of 0.24 inches and external thickness of 0.20 inches provide greater rigidity and strength without significantly increasing weight. Made with high-strength steels, it guarantees high performance in all conditions. The use of reinforced tapered roller bearings and completely redesigned gearboxes equipped with six bearings ensure long-lasting durability and greater stability. Completing the setup are HEAVY DUTY features such as cam-type side PTO shafts, more robust knife shafts, and thicker knives that attach to knife supports cast as a single block.

The rich standard equipment enables top-level performance. The patented RAPIDO quick-release knife system allows for simple and fast replacement in just four easy steps, even in the field. Additionally, the PLUS stone protection system, thanks to protective wedges, shields the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusion by stones or other debris that could cause blockage.

Thanks to the optional rear trolley, TORO is much easier to transport, consequently reducing the load on the tractor’s lift.

The option to combine with the CENTAURO cereal seed drill, together with tungsten carbide coated knives that increase abrasion resistance up to three times, allows TORO SUPER RAPIDO to achieve extremely high versatility and record-breaking robustness.

The transmission and working parts are made from the highest quality materials using highly automated and precision manufacturing processes. The rotor shafts with knife supports are turned from a single forged piece of high-strength steel. The long 12.6-inch knives are forged from hardened boron steel and manufactured on highly automated lines. Their profile is specially designed to maximise soil refinement under all conditions. Tungsten carbide coating is available as an option to extend their lifespan.
