Double transmission fixed straw chopper
LEOPARD is a professional fixed straw chopper featuring a double transmission. Developed to cater for high yields, intensive use and shredding of unrivalled quality, LEOPARD has a working width of 10.5 ft and is designed to work with tractors up to 200 hp to meet the demands of large farms and contractors.
The very rugged build and HEAVY-DUTY bearings ensure brilliant performance in residue management for crops such as maize, sorghum, sunflowers, straw, cotton and sugar cane, as well as grass and brush, speeding up their natural breakdown process. The electronically balanced rotor with hammer flails or blades mounted in a helical arrangement results in improved rotation, reducing vibrations. The toothed lower counter blade results in finer residue shredding to speed up the decomposition process.
The dual drive system with 3 belts per side and rotatable roller bearings ensures a high level of reliability even when tackling thick or highly lignified residues.
LEOPARD can be fitted with rear pivoting wheels to adjust work height and improve headland manoeuvrability.
