Mechanical seed drill for cereals
MEGA model introduces the large size in-line mechanical seed drill segment with mechanical transmission. Based on the structure of SC MARIA model, it guarantees high reliability and sturdiness allowing sowing even on minimally or coarsely tilled soils. Equipped with a mounted frame, it is available in 5 and 6 meter versions, for a maximum number of rows of 44.
MEGA seed drill is based on the union of 2 SC MARIA seed drill models that work in parallel with each other. This large seed drill maintains the peculiar characteristics of the model from which it derives such as the mechanical transmission system with three-cam transmission in oil bath, the internal partition of the hopper for the distribution of the seed and fertilizer with a combined system and the system of double disc coulters with adjustable compression spring.
The planting units are characterised by an easy adjustment of the sowing depths of the 2 rows of double disc coulters, a solution that allows correct spacing to avoid soil clogging even in the presence of a lot of crop residue.
The dosing devices for the combined distribution of seed and fertilizer are double chamber in stainless steel. Unlike the seed metering roller, the fertilizer roller is a constant pitch roller mounted on the hexagonal axis. The seed and fertilizer are deposited inside the same delivery tube and then in the same sowing furrow.
MEGA is the ideal seed drill for medium to large farms where there are no traffic problems but which require a simple, sturdy and reliable machine.
