Front mounted disc mower/conditioner
The front-mounted version of the BORA F mower range shares the same cutter bar as the rest of the lineup. This mounted machine directs the crop between the tractor wheels to prevent contamination from contact. Available with two types of suspension systems, it offers working widths ranging from approximately 9.7 to 11.5 feet, making it adaptable to different operational needs. Optional equipment includes a polyethylene flail conditioner and the TOP DRY rapid-drying system. When paired with rear-mounted side or twin mowers, it ensures maximum daily productivity.
The new cutter bar features a completely flat underside and a low-profile design, with a cutting height adjustable up to 4 inches. This helps protect the turf by reducing ground pressure during mowing and encourages faster regrowth for subsequent harvests.
Thanks to the fast and easy blade replacement system, BORA F minimizes downtime and allows users to resume mowing quickly. Each knife is precisely angled to provide a clean, sharp cut, preserving crop integrity even when working with laid-down forage.
If a disc collides with an obstacle, the ShockPRO hubs are designed to break intentionally to protect the cutter bar drive system. The mechanism stays securely in place, allowing quick hub replacement and reducing both repair costs and downtime.
This technology, standard only on front-mounted mower-conditioners, compensates for lateral slopes up to 12° and vertical movement up to 21.5 inches. It ensures optimal performance even on hilly or mountainous terrain. The cutting unit can adjust to varying ground contours through a trapezoidal linkage that allows the bar to tilt backward when pushed.
