Professional hedge and verge mower
MARGHERITA EVO is the entry-level model among MASCHIO GASPARDO hedge trimmer arms. Suitable for private use, it can be connected to tractors with reversible driving position for mowing grass and shrubs in ditches adjacent to plots. Compatible with tractors with a minimum power of 25 HP, a track width of at least 1.5 m, and a weight of 1,600 kg, it allows a maximum reach of 3.8 m. Its compact design enables mowing flush with the wheel, without protruding beyond the opposite track width.
To ensure maximum performance and long-term reliability, it is essential to have a strong, high-resistance arm. Safety systems range from an adjustable mechanical shock absorber, to the manual closure of the independent hydraulic circuit for total safety during maintenance operations, up to the mechanical anti-shock safety system that releases the rotor’s hydraulic pressure in case of blockage. To make operations simpler and safer, especially in maximum outreach conditions, MARGHERITA EVO can also be combined with tractors equipped with reversible driving position.
MARGHERITA EVO allows coupling with two direct-drive heads, 90 and 100 cm wide. The spiral-type rotor with knife working tools allows double rotation direction and floating function up to 220° rotation, ensuring maximum performance.
In addition to the classic pruning heads, a hedge cutter bar for cutting shrubs up to 1.5 cm in diameter and a branch cutter for branches up to 10 cm are available. MARGHERITA EVO also allows cleaning of roadside ditches and trenches thanks to the ditch rotor. The high efficiency of these tools comes from the use of a hydraulic motor, the ideal solution for driving accessories that operate with long reaches.
The MARGHERITA EVO model is equipped as standard with a hydraulic control group with single-lever control — a simple and reliable system. To speed up and simplify movements, an ON/OFF electric joystick is available on request.
