ST STELLA
Precision planters with telescopic frame
ST STELLA model is the result of GASPARDO brand’s over ten years’ experience in the precision planter sector. Simplicity, reliability and accuracy are the strengths that make the machine ideal for precision planting on cultivated soils, with minimal or no crop residue or for crops that require superficial seed deposition. ST STELLA with telescopic frame, available with spacing between 60 and 75 cm (6 rows) and 45 cm (8 rows), finds its ideal field of use in corn planting.
SP planting units
The well-known planting unit uses the parallelogram connection system with load spring which guarantees both to faithfully follow the profile of the ground and to adjust the pressure on the ground. The mechanical transmission, synonymous with maximum reliability, allows the quick disengagement of one or more rows, guaranteeing control of the individual sections.
Planting quality
The lowered position of the pneumatic vacuum distribution system, very close to the planting furrow, guarantees high precision of the deposition distance, while the constant depth is ensured by a special depth-adjustable wheel. Available in the basic version with suffolk coulter and clod breaker, the double disc coulter can be requested as an option for tougher soils or with greater presence of residue. The versatility in the field can be increased thanks to optional equipment such as the microgranulator and the fertilizer spreader.
Compactness first of all
ST STELLA model is characterised by a mounted-type telescopic frame to allow a quick switch from 4 m of working width up to 3 m of transport width, for easy road transfers.
ST STELLA uses a single section telescopic frame with rear drive wheels.
The system with bevel gears and cardan shaft guarantees extremely reduced maintenance compared to chain machines, providing for only periodic greasing of the bevel gears.
SP unit has 3 variants to ensure it adapts to the needs of different soils and crops.
Standard corn version:
The front clod breaker facilitates the action of the suffolk coulter. With the right seeding disc, this version is suitable for all crops (corn, sorghum, soy, sunflower, cotton, bean, tomato, ...) on well-worked soils.
Double disc version:
The 370 mm double front disc facilitates the opening of the planting furrow on the more difficult soils. This configuration maintains the front clod breaker and the suffolk coulter. The two discs are kept clean by the mud scrapers.
Beet version:
The configuration with wheeled rocker arm guarantees an absolutely constant placement depth. The seed press wheel facilitates contact between seed and soil, for rapid and uniform germination. The closure of the planting furrow is ensured by the rear “V” wheels.
MINIMAX volumetric metering unit is easily adjustable and allows the distribution of both fertilizer and microgranular products, while maintaining high distribution precision. Furthermore, through SPEEDY SET, setting the dose to be distributed is quick and convenient.
The burying of the fertilizer on the side of the planting row is made possible thanks to the coulter. Two versions are available:
Suffolk coulter:
Suitable for well-prepared soils, especially very fine ones, where there is not much crop residue on the surface.
Double disc coulter:
Suitable for tougher worked soils or with crop residues present on the surface.
