Power harrow with rigid frame
ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is the most efficient model of MASCHIO fixed power harrows, a concentrate of performance and reliability up to 4 m wide in combination with tractors up to 300 HP. Suitable for continuous and heavy use thanks to its HEAVY DUTY type conformation, it can be combined with GASPARDO planters for cereals even on hard and poorly tilled soils.

HEAVY DUTY structure
ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is characterised by a very solid, double skin frame structure, a feature of MASCHIO power harrows. The internal thickness of 6 mm and the external thickness of 5 mm allow greater rigidity and robustness without significantly increasing the weight. Made with high-strength steels, it ensures high performance in all conditions. The use of reinforced spherical roller bearings and the fully revised gearbox, equipped with 6 overall bearings, ensure high resistance over time and greater stability. The picture is completed by HEAVY DUTY equipment such as the lateral cam PTO shafts, more robust tine-holder shafts, and thicker tines that hook onto tine-holders that are single-block castings.
Quality at the highest MASCHIO levels
The transmission and working parts are made with top quality materials and automated and high-precision production processes. The rotor shafts with tine support are turned by a single high-strength steel forged piece. The long 32 cm tines are forged with tempered boron steel and machined in highly automated lines. Their profile is specially designed to maximise soil refinement in all conditions. Tungsten carbide coating to extend its life is an optional.
RAPIDO PLUS as standard
The many standard features are enhanced by accessories worthy of a superior class equipment. The patented QUICK release system allows to quickly and simply replace the tines with the sole help of the supplied cam. While PLUS stone deflectors system, thanks to the presence of protective wedges, protects the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusions with stones or other debris that could block them.
Combined seeder or front mounting
ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI allows coupling with GASPARDO precision flow rate seed drills thanks to the hydraulic coupling, or in combination with DAMA, DAMA PLUS, ALIANTE and ALITALIA cereal planters. To increase versatility of use, the front hitch kit is available upon request which allows to mount other equipment at the rear.
ORSO RAPIDO PLUS COMBI is at the top not only in terms of performance but also set-up: QUICK tine release, PLUS stone deflectors, increased gearbox, larger transmission shafts, more robust teeth and spherical roller bearings that combine robustness and reliability with easy maintenance. All this made it possible to increase load powers by 20%.

DOUBLE SKIN STRUCTURE
The double-skinned tank frame (internal 6 mm, external 5 mm) increases the strength of the structure and prevents twisting without excessively increasing the weight.
NUMBER OF ROTORS
Rotor shafts are spaced 25 cm from each other (very narrow space compared to that of other competitors). The 4 rotors per metre ensure an excellent preparation of the seeding bed, even on tough and clayey soils.
LOW VIBRATIONS
The particular position of the rotors with diversified angles allows to gradually enter the ground, reducing the absorbed power, consumption and vibrations transmitted to the tractor. This results in longer component life and less maintenance.
DAMPENED SIDE PROTECTIONS
Side protections are dampened on a spring, increasing the side excursion of the panels and facilitating the discharge of excess material. The spring can be easily adjusted via shear-pin.
SPEED GEARBOX
With a rapid change of gears, it is possible to choose the final rotation speed of the tines.
HEAVY DUTY SEALS
Seal rings specially designed for the application and highly tested are the result of decades of experience. The composition with cellular polyurethane makes them highly reliable.
PLUS STONE DEFLECTORS
Robust bolt-on deflectors are installed to protect the rotor and the gear containment tank from colliding with stones, branches or strings that can twist around the shafts. The wedges can be easily removed when working in stone-free soils and to improve soil flow.
QUICK TINE RELEASE
A pin integrated in the tine holding support, removable with a special wrench supplied, allows changing the worn teeth in a few seconds and in maximum safety.
SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS
MASCHIO power harrows are equipped with bearings consisting of a double series of spheres for ample resistance to impacts and heavy workloads. Main advantages: long Life (up to 30% longer life than traditional bearings), high strength and load capacity, reduced maintenance.

The system allows quick and simple coupling with GASPARDO seeding bars.
ON GRIP TINES
Special ON GRIP tine was created from the need to operate in the presence of plenty of residues and on firm soils. Thanks to its particular shape and working inclination, it ensures an excellent mixing between soil and crop residues. ON GRIP tine also avoids the formation of processing soles and leathery crusts on the surface.
