CAMILLA is a professional hedge cutter with high parallelogram connection for grass, shrubs and bushes, both in the field and for road maintenance. It can be coupled with tractors with a power between 60 and 80 HP with minimum wheel track of 2 m and a weight of 3.000 kg, offering an extension of up to 6,1 m.

Safety and reliability

The peculiarity of the model CAMILLA is in the high parallelogram connection that allows the arm to perform two movements with a single command, while ensuring the machine is more compact, but at the same time safe. The safety systems include OVER CENTER on the first arm which prevents it from suddenly lowering, the hydraulic safety system with adjustable hydropneumatic shock-absorber, up to the mechanical shockproof safety system which discharges the hydraulic pressure of the rotor in case it blocks.

Accuracy and safety

The CFS (Contour Following System) is available on request, which ensures the floating of the arm by means of a nitrogen accumulator that makes it possible to follow the profile of the ground without having to intervene on the controls, protecting the arm and the hydraulic motor from damage. The head, equipped with a spiral rotor, allows the double rotation direction with an angle of up to 2.460, ensuring maximum performance.

High performing heads

CAMILLA can be coupled with different types of belt drive heads 120 cm wide, which offers different combinations for the cutting parts, blades or hammers. The spiral type rotor allows the double rotation direction and the floating function up to 2460 of rotation, ensuring maximum performance.

High versatility

In addition to the classic heads for twigs, hedge bars for cutting shrubs up to 1,5 cm and the attachment for cutting branches up to 10 cm are also available. MARGHERITA also allows cleaning road side ditches and channels thanks to the ditch cutter. The high efficiency of this equipment comes from the use of a hydraulic motor, an ideal solution for the drive of particular accessories that work with high extensions.

SPIRAL ROTOR

The spiral position of the tools ensures lower power absorption. Reversal of rotation is timed, reducing the risks of accidental breakage.

HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT SHUT OFF

Hydraulic circuit can be blocked by shut-off valves, this allows the user to safely perform maintenance operations.

GEAR PUMP

The gear pump is compact and protected so as not to interfere with work and uses a safety valve which intervenes for discharging if the rotor is blocked. It can be of two types:

Direct drive;
With belt drive.

HYDROPNEUMATIC SAFETY SYSTEM

A double safety device is triggered when the arm meets an obstacle: the first protection consists of a nitrogen accumulator shock absorber. If this is not sufficient, a relief valve allows to rotate the arm backwards by 90°.

OVER CENTER SAFETY SYSTEM

A valve placed on the cylinder of the first arm makes it possible to keep exactly in the set position, ensuring precision cuts even for extended periods, such as when cutting hedges. In the event of failures, the valve also acts as a safety system, keeping the arm in position and avoiding sudden failures.

CFS (CONTOUR FOLLOWING SYSTEM)

This system allows the “floating” of the arm, following the profile of the ground, without intervening on the controls. After having memorised a position of the arm, the machine automatically adapts to the ground profile, following its unevenness. By means of a pressurised nitrogen accumulator, the thrust of the arm on the hydraulic system is counterbalanced and, the further away the arm works, the more backpressure is needed by the system.
