Because risk is unacceptable in the field, the TORNADO XL completely eliminates the concept of an opening bonnet. The enclosed, fully welded chassis keeps the machinery inside the vehicle and has passed stone-impact tests, ensuring an unprecedented level of safety in this sector.

Thanks to its optimised internal flow and 1000 rpm drive, the TORNADO XL operates with lower power consumption and greater efficiency. The material remains in the cutting chamber for longer, avoiding the need for reworking and torque spikes. The result: up to a 30% reduction in energy consumption and increased daily productivity.

The 219 mm diameter rotor, with tools arranged in a helical pattern, ensures a progressive cut, reducing vibrations and the load on the machine. The longer retention of material in the chamber and the presence of toothed counter-blades ensure uniform shredding, accelerating the decomposition of crop residues and improving the agronomic management of the soil.

Because a machine needs to last for years, not just seasons: the fully welded chassis doubles structural rigidity, whilst features such as the optional TWIN SHIELD system protect the cutting chamber from wear and impact, even on stony ground. Every component is designed to minimise maintenance and downtime.
