GUIDA INTELLIGENTE

The unit consists of a tool holder frame to which the HS row crop cultivator is attached by means of the appropriate three-point hitch. This structure has, at the two ends, orientable support iron wheels, with central ridge or made of rubber according to requirements, which keep the row crop cultivator stable.

The dual-lens camera identifies the plants by distinguishing their green colour from that of the ground. In this way, it can calculate the centre of the row, comparing the position with the necessary corrections through a camera that follows one or more rows of the crop by controlling a highly reactive electro-hydraulic correction system. Even when the lighting conditions are not optimal, it is possible to operate in the same way thanks to the group of xenon headlights, available on request, which allow a clear distinction between the row of the crop and the inter-row.

When the vegetative stages of the crop are very advanced and it is not possible to correctly view the inter-row with the camera, the mechanical feelers are the only tool capable of following the row. In addition to being ideal for crops with very robust stems (e.g. corn), it is also ideal when it is difficult to distinguish the plant.

Thanks to the COMMUNICATOR 3 terminal, working parameters and possible system adjustments can be viewed. The driver can check the plants detected on the monitor and react extremely quickly to any deviation accordingly.

The extreme precision offered by GUIDA INTELLIGENTE allows the hoes to be brought closer up to 3 cm from the plant, for an increased speed rate and an improved working comfort. This is made possible by the great responsiveness of the hydraulic system in response to changes in forward speed.
