AQUILA SUPER stands out for its particularly robust mechanics, ideal for contractors and medium to large farms that require versatile and reliable machines. The possible usage scenarios range from operating in extremely challenging conditions such as heavy or stony soils to working in combination with the GASPARDO CENTAURO cereal bar and front hopper. In both cases, the sturdy mechanics can withstand high stresses resulting from coupling with tractors up to 330 HP.
The transmission and working components are made from top-quality materials using highly precise, automated production processes. The rotor shafts with blade holders are turned from a single piece of high-strength forged steel. This is a unique solution on the market, featuring all transmission bath gears case-hardened and tempered. The blades are forged from tempered boron steel and processed on highly automated lines. The long 30 cm blades have a specially designed profile to maximize soil refinement under all conditions. Upon request, the On GRIP version is available, or a tungsten carbide coating can be applied to extend durability.
AQUILA SUPER allows coupling in combination with the CENTAURO cereal seeder. The combined solution offers significant advantages, foremost among them increasing operational efficiency by enabling primary/secondary soil tillage and sowing in a single pass.
The rich standard equipment can be further enhanced with important optional features. The patented RAPIDO knife release system allows quick and easy replacement in just four simple steps. Meanwhile, the PLUS stone protection system, thanks to the presence of protective wedges, shields the space between the rotors from impacts or intrusion by stones or other debris that could cause blockages.
AQUILA SUPER is distinguished by its renowned double-shell frame structure, a hallmark of MASCHIO harrows. The internal thickness of 6 mm and the external thickness of 5 mm provide remarkable rigidity and strength without significantly increasing the weight. Manufactured with high-strength steel, it delivers excellent performance under all conditions. The standard UP FLOATING system and optional DOWN FLOATING system allow the frame wings to follow the ground contour, ensuring maximum soil refinement. Completing the setup are the HEAVY DUTY features such as lateral cam-type PTO shafts, forged rotor shafts, ON GRIP blades, and lateral gearboxes with speed change. This system allows the blade rotation speed to be adjusted according to the desired level of soil refinement.
