Subsoiler
PINOCCHIO is the entry-level product in MASCHIO GASPARDO subsoiler range. Designed for tractors ranging from 50 to 160 horsepower, it is ideal for medium-small specialist businesses and farms with narrow row spacing (vineyards and orchards).
The number of tines ranges from 3 to 7. Tines are fitted on mounts welded to the frame, each 30 mm thick and up to 76 cm high for a maximum working depth of up to 45 cm. The combination of tines and tips with a tungsten coating ensures high performance.
To work safely, tines have a shear bolt, which allows the shaft to swing up, avoiding possible damage to the tine and frame. Working depth is adjusted by means of the rear twin spike roller, which is tasked with incorporating surface stubble into the soil.
PINOCCHIO mounts a twin spike roller that both ensures the soil that has just been ripped up is broken down perfectly to a fine tilth and incorporates crop residue in the top 15-20 cm of soil. With loose soil, the ground can be prepared for sowing in a single pass.
PINOCCHIO is the ideal machine for decompacting heavy, clayey soils in specialist fields like wine growing, or even preparing seedbeds on very loose soil thanks to the additional action provided by the spike roller. Optional hydraulic adjustment makes it easier to use on small plots where different working depths are required.
