MASCHIO GASPARDO, a global leader in agricultural equipment, has become a shareholder in LYNX AG LLC, based in Churdan, Iowa. LYNX specializes in no-till seeding technologies that perfectly complement MASCHIO GASPARDO’s product line. In tandem, the company is launching MASCHIO GASPARDO USA INC, a joint venture headquartered in Iowa, dedicated to developing and manufacturing large-format precision planters for the North American market.

MASCHIO GASPARDO NORTH AMERICA INC, active since 2004 through its subsidiary in DeWitt, Iowa, thus strengthens its presence by investing in one of the most strategic areas of the continent for largescale farming.

This initiative supports MASCHIO GASPARDO’s long-term strategy, previously announced, to deepen investment in North America as a key growth region. Partnering with LYNX, a local manufacturer, provides direct access to production capabilities, agronomic insight, and technology deeply rooted in the Corn Belt, with Iowa ranking as the nation’s top corn-producing state.

Founded in 2013, LYNX AG is a U.S.-based manufacturer recognized for its rapid innovation, strong focus on precision farming, and the world’s largest strip-till machine: 20 meters wide, 36 rows, with a dual 24-ton fertilizer tank, designed for maximum efficiency on corn and sugar beet farms. The company also runs its own test farm to agronomically and functionally validate equipment in real-world fields.

This agreement enables MASCHIO GASPARDO to expand its lineup of large-format planters tailored to North American farming needs. In this context, MASCHIO GASPARDO will develop a new range of precision planters, integrating CHRONO as the core seeding unit: a high-speed system designed and patented by the company, drawing on its longstanding expertise in the agricultural machinery sector.

CHRONO features seven mechanical and electronic patents, achieving the maximum accurate planting at speeds above 15 km/h, thanks to pneumatic seed delivery, ISOBUS connectivity, and advanced electronics. Co-designed with the Italian School of Design (SID), CHRONO delivers top-tier performance and functional aesthetics typical of Italian industrial design excellence.

The new joint venture is immediately operational and will focus on delivering tailored, practical solutions for North American agronomic and operational conditions. Products will be sold through the dealer networks of both MASCHIO GASPARDO and LYNX, offering farmers integrated, reliable, and sustainable machinery engineered to boost productivity and yield while reducing waste and operating costs.

Mirco Maschio, President of MASCHIO GASPARDO S.p.A., says: “This move aligns perfectly with our strategic plan and embodies our vision of being a global technology partner for the agriculture of tomorrow. By strengthening our presence in North America, we bring our heritage of values, passion and engineering, because only through strategic collaborations can we grow sustainably.”

Andrea Maschio, President of MASCHIO Holding, comments: “Chrono represents the pinnacle of our commitment to innovation: a technology designed to deliver precision, speed, and operational efficiency. With LYNX as our partner, we’ll further tailor our solutions to meet the real-world needs of North American farmers, enhancing yield and sustainability.”

Luigi De Puppi, CEO of MASCHIO GASPARDO, emphasizes: “North America is key to our growth trajectory. Our partnership with LYNX accelerates product development, shortens time-to-market, and brings high-value solutions to farmers, focusing on reliability, digitalization, and productivity.”

Lance Glendenning, CEO of LYNX AG LLC, adds: “We are thrilled to join forces with MASCHIO GASPARDO. Together, we’ll build a new generation of planters, where European design quality meets the practicality and resilience required by American agriculture.”

Precision planting is one of the fastest-growing segments in modern agriculture, enabling optimized inputs, increased operational efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Through this partnership, MASCHIO GASPARDO reinforces its global expansion strategy and solidifies its position as a full-liner able to provide concrete, reliable solutions at every stage of the crop cycle, tailored to real marketplace needs.
