Precision planter with folding wings frame and adjustable row spacing
Thanks to over ten years’ experience in the precision planter sector and the versatility of MTR unit capable of planting in conditions of both fine and minimally tilled soils, MAGA model offers versions with 6 to 9 rows with variable inter-row spacing, from 17.7 to 23.6, 29.5 and 31.5 ft, allowing the planting of all row crops, such as corn, beet, soy, rapeseed, sunflower, sorghum and cotton.

Minimum Tillage Revolution
MTR planting unit is characterised by high-level structural solutions such as the sturdy double parallelogram connection system with adjustable load spring, double disc coulter, independent rocker depth wheels, distributor body made in cast aluminium and large 15.8 gal capacity hopper.
Foldable and adjustable
MTR planting unit is coupled to the frame with foldable side wings which ensure road widths of 9.8 ft and 10.5 ft depending on the version. The rapid adjustment of the inter-row distance is carried out with locking pins for each planting unit, while the positioning of the individual elements according to the desired distance takes place hydraulically. The standard transmission is mechanical with a 16-speed gearbox and offers, on request, the electromechanical release system of the single element, which allows section control.
Fertilizer spreader with double disc coulter
MAGA allows different combinations between microgranulators and fertilizer spreaders, the latter, available only with a double disc coulter, highly suitable for heavy soils or rich in crop residues.
Transformation kit
The 7 and 9 row versions allow the exclusion of the central element by transforming MAGA into the 6 and 8 row version respectively. This system allows to work with both the narrower inter-row distances of 17.7 and 23.6 in of the 7 and 9 row versions and the wider ones of 29.5-31.5 in of the 6 and 8 row versions.
ISOTRONIC version
In case of greater technological needs, the ISOTRONIC version with electric transmission and ISOBUS communication system, allows digital control of the planter and the use of all PRECISION FARMING functions.

FRAME WITH FOLDABLE WINGS AND ADJUSTABLE INTER-ROW SPACING
The folding wing frame with telescopic grouping of the elements allows transport dimensions of 9.8 ft for the 6-7-8 row versions and 10.5 ft for the 8-9-12 versions.
The pin spacing adjustment system allows to select different distances depending on the closing width and the number of rows.
MECHANICAL TRANSMISSION
The system with bevel gears and PTO shaft guarantees extremely reduced maintenance compared to chain machines, providing for only periodic greasing of the bevel gears. The single row can be excluded with a quick release or using an electric control.
The variable row spacing planters are equipped with a 16-speed gearbox operated by two convenient levers.
ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION (ISOTRONIC VERSION)
The 12 V Brushless electric motor is direct drive with seeding disc. Each row has its own electric motor. Management takes place from the Universal Terminal in the tractor cabin.
FURROW OPENER DISCS
The 16.5 in diameter by 0.25 in thick furrow opener discs create a very narrow “V” furrow. Thanks to their triple seal, SUPER SEAL type bearings ensure a long life, which prevents dust and humidity from entering the bearing. The mud scraper guarantees maximum cleaning of the disc thanks also to the WIDIA (tungsten carbide) profile with zero wear.
DEPTH WHEELS
Thanks to the rocker arm system, each wheel moves independently of the other and vice versa.
CENTRAL UNIT DISENGAGEMENT
The kit allows the exclusion of the central unit, allowing the quick transformation from 9 to 8 and 7 to 6 rows.
SPREADING OF FERTILIZER AND MICROGRANULAR PRODUCTS
MINIMAX volumetric metering unit is easily adjustable and allows the spreading of both fertilizer and microgranular products, while maintaining high spreading precision. Furthermore, through SPEEDY SET, setting the dose to be distributed is quick and convenient.
BURYING OF FERTILIZER
The burying of the fertilizer on the side of the planting row is made possible thanks to the double disc coulter. Suitable for tougher worked soils or with crop residues on the surface.
